NEW EVERYTHING!

New beginnings are good, very good. I am excited about the new year, the new website, and new people I will meet this year. We have already had two Bridal Shows this year and lots of Brides, Moms and even some Grooms stopped by our booth to talk. It is an exhausting day but it is so much fun to meet all of you who stopped by and your excitement just spills over to us. It begins to get me energized for the new weddings of this year and all the different people we will me in the course of all those weddings. Each couple is different and interact with each other differently as well as friends and family, so anticipating all the new creative categories that opens up for us gets me excited and ready to get going with spring. As I think about the new year and all we will be doing and mostly around lots of new people I am reminded of a quote of Peggy Tabor Millin's.
"We never touch people so lightly that we do not leave a trace." I am planning on that being in the forefront of my mind during this entire year, from both sides, the one touching and the one being touched. May I leave as well as take the positive traces.

Although things sure don't stop in the winter. We are headed off to Batesville, Ark. soon and of course Richard and I are going a day early and staying a day over so we can piddle along the way and see how many out of the way Antique/Junk stores we can find to rifle through....cause we need some more "old stuff". I am really excited about photographing Medody and Gilbert's wedding. They have SO much fun together and I know that because of their engagement session and we got such great shots with lots of those natural, just giggleing together and enjoying each other sort of things....love that!

By the way Meg and Jamie's wedding pics will be up on the site next week. That was a beautiful Christmas wedding! The church looked like a picture out of a national magazine, I can't wait for them to see all of them. Pics on the Blog are coming soon.
